Town Centre of Renfrew
Renfrew is some 6 miles ( 10km ) to the west of Glasgow. Renfrew has royal burgh status and is the county town of Renfrewshire. Renfrew is at the confluence of the River Clyde and the River Cart. A passenger ferry crosses the River Clyde from Renfrew to Yoker. |
Town Hall in Renfrew
The steeple was built in 1872 to replace an earlier town hall on the site which dated from 1670. The design is a mixture of French and Gothic styles and the tower is 105ft in height. |
