Town Hall in Renfrew
The steeple was built in 1872
to replace an earlier town hall on the site
which dated from 1670.
The design is a mixture of French and Gothic styles
and the tower is 105ft in height.

It was originally a place where merchants would gather
and later became the focal point for town events
