This is a grey granite pedestal surmounted by an armoured crusader on a charger, flanked by four infantrymen. The Memorial was unveiled on Sunday 27th July 1924. |

Memorial Baptist Church in Paisley
This is an example of Gothic Revival architecture. The crown spire is more than 60 metres ( 197ft ) in height. The church was opened in 1894 and is the largest Baptist church in Europe. The church was built in memory of Thomas Coats - one of the founders of J & P Coats - the thread manufacturers. |
