Glacier Bay National Park lies in the SE of Alaska.

The park area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
 Most of the park is a designated wilderness area.

No roads lead to the park
and it is most easily reached by air.
However there are over 300,000 visitors per year

- mostly on cruise ships.
There are spectacular views of glaciers
descending from snow-capped mountains into the bay.
