Mt. Uludag ( Mt. Olympus ) in Turkey

Uludag ( "Great Mountain" ) - the ancient Mysian Olympus,

it is the highest mountain of the Marmara Region,

the highest peak is Kartaltepe ( 2543 meters ).

Due to its richness of flora and fauna it has been made a National Park.

It is a popular centre for winter sports including skiing,

and also summer activities such as trekking and camping.
