Krabi
is a town on the west coast of southern Thailand at
the mouth
of
the Krabi River into the Andaman Sea. Most tourists only
travel through
Krabi town to go to the more popular nearby locations -
Ko Phi
Phi, Ao Nang, Ko
Jum, Ko
Phuket
and Ko Lanta. Rai Leh is
a small peninsula located between Krabi and Ao Nang accessible
only by
boat due to high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access. These
cliffs attract rock climbers. The area is also popular due
to its
beautiful beaches.
