Woramahaviharn
The temple houses the Phra Buddha Sihing, an important Buddha statue - hence the temple name. Wat Phra Singh is in the western part of the old city centre of Chiang Mai within the city walls and moat. The main entrance, guarded by Singhs ( lions ), is at the end of Rachadamnoen road. This road runs east from the temple via Tha Phae Gate in the city wall to the Ping River. |
