Day 6) Killilan to Achnashellach

Killilan - Nomach Lodge - Glen Ling - Loch an Iasaich - Bendronaig Lodge - Black Water - Loch an Laoigh - Abhainn Bhearnais - bothy -  footpath  -  pass beneath Sgurr na Feartaig  - Achnashellach Forest  - River Carron - Achnashellach Station.

Day 8) Kinlochewe to Corrie Hallie

Kinlochewe - A832  -  Incheril - estate track - heights of Kinlochewe -  Gleann Muice -  Meallan Odhar - Bealach Gorm - Loch an Nid - beneath An Teallach - Corrie Hallie on A832.

Day 9) Corrie Hallie to Glen Squaib

A832 - north  - right at first junction - bridge over Dundonnell River - gate on right - climb hillside on left  - path -  two gates -  stream / waterfall - cairned path  - Loch an Tiompain  - Croftown - River Broom - A835Inverlael - track - Glensquaib.

Day 10) Glen Squaib to Oykel Bridge

Glensquaib - track  -  junction of streams - ENE  / parallel to Allt na Lairige - River Douchary - footpath - Loch an Daihm - Duag Bridge - Strath Mulzie - track - Amat - Oykel Bridge.

Day 11) Oykel Bridge to Kylesku ( Ref: capewrathtrail/section three )

River Oykel - Loch Ailsh - Benmore Lodge  - Allt Sail an Ruathair  - Meall an Aonaich  - Loch Carn nan Conbhairean - Ben More Assynt - Loch Bealach a’ MhadaidhEas Coul-Aulin waterfall - Loch na Gainmhich - Kylesku.

Kylesku Bridge - Kylestrome - Loch More / A838 - Achfary - Strath Stack - path junction - right beneath Ben Stack - right at road  - bridge  - Lochstack Lodge - Alltan Riabhach - Loch a’ Garbh-bhaid Mor - Rhiconish.

Day 13) Rhiconich to Sandwood Bay

Rhiconich  - B801  - Kinlochbervie - BlairmoreSandwood Bay.

Day 14) Sandwood Bay to Cape Wrath

Sandwood Bay  - coastlineCape Wrath.

This proposed coastal route would run for 115 miles from John O'Groats
to 
Cape Wrath in the north-westerly tip of Sutherland
taking in Dunnet Head, Holborn Head, Strathy Point and Skerray.

One of the  features of the far north is the outstanding sea-cliff landscape.
