Scotus College in Bearsden Used as the National Seminary  for the training of priests in Scotland. The College suspended training in June 2009  due to declining numbers training for priesthoods. According to Professor Patrick Reilly this was a result of increasing secularisation  in modern society.

Chesters House in Bearsden - built in 1890 - it is a Category C (S) Listed Building. It lies within the Old Bearsden Conservation Area Gifted in 1954 to the Royal College of Science and Technology. and sold in 1984 to become Scotus College Photographs of Old Bearsden
