Cambuslang is just south of the 
River Clyde
 
and about 6 miles ( 9.7km )
to the south-east of Glasgow.

The town has a history of
coal mining,
iron & steel making
and engineering works.

Built between 1892 and 1898,

it is a grade "B" listed building.
