Kush Mountains on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan Noshaq is the westernmost of the 7,000m mountains of the world. The north and western sides of Noshaq are in Afghanistan and the south and eastern sides are in Pakistan. Noshaq ( Nowshak ) is the highest mountain in Afghanistan and the second highest independent peak of the Hindu Kush after Tirich Mir ( 7,690m, 25,230ft ). |
