Lake is situated at an altitude of 4919m and is an attractive and beautiful lake. Trekking to Tilicho Lake also offers the opportunity of the Manang Valley, Annapurna Circuit trail and Thorong La pass. Tilich
Lake is of religious importance - according to Hindu mythology it is the lake where a crow recited the Ramayana to the Garuda and thus the lake is regarded as one of the holy places. |
