Shwethalyaung at Bago / Pegu Giant Dragon Dogs  ( Chinthe ) guarding entrance to temple Chinthe are often seen at the entrance to pagodas  in Burma and other SE Asian countries. Chinthes are usually in pairs. They serve to protect a pagoda.

Giant Sleeping Buddha at Shwethalyaung Paya The reclining Buddha ( length 55m, 180ft and height 16m, 52ft )  is the second largest Buddha in the world.
