Contour through forests along the valleyside winding in and out
of side-valleys.
Views down to the Dudh Khola in its deep, narrow gorge far below.
Pass through villages of Surkhe, Puyang and Karte before
descending to Khari Khola.
2) Khari Khola - Tragsindo Pass:
A long day of mostly unrelenting ascent through the large village
of Maningdingma.

Descend to Ringmo then contour round to Sallung and continue to
the large village of Junbesi.
Cross Likhu Khola and climb up to the large village of Bhandar
scattered over a wide plateau.
Steep climb to top of the Deorali Pass.
Long steep descent to Shivalaya on the Khimti Khola.
6) Shivalaya - Jiri:
Cross suspension bridge and climb steadily to broad ridge top.
Long gradual descent to Jiri.
