Mardi Himal - one of the " Trekking Peaks " of
the Nepal Himalaya
|
![]() Route Description:- The climb has problems with route finding but little technical difficulty. The couloirs leading to the col on the East Face can present an avalanche danger with fresh snow. The climb begins by heading steeply towards the col between Mardi Himal and Macchhapuchre. High camp is usually placed below the steep ( 45 degree ) couloir leading to the col ( about 4,650m / 15,256ft ). From high camp, climb to the col and turn west, ascending steep snow slopes to the summit. Descent is by the same route. |
