From Bearsden Cross walk up Drymen Road past the Burgh Hall and Brookwood Library to the Schaw Home.
From the bend in Drymen Road at Schaw Home take a signposted Right of Way up the hill.
At the top of the hill descend to the right for a short distance for a view over the houses of Mosshead and Milngavie to the Campsie Fells.

Returning to the top of the hill continue down the Right of Way behind the dry ski slopes of Bearsden Ski Club. Turn right at Stockiemuir Avenue and down to the shops. Turn right at the end of the shops, through the car park and a lane to emerge onto a green playing field in Mosshead.

Continue over the playing field to the right-hand corner where a gate leads to a signpost for several Rights of Way. Follow the one to Craigdhu Road into a field and up to the top of the hill. Here a view extends over to Milngavie beneath the Campsie Fells.

Continue across the field to reach South Mains Farm on Craigdhu Road.
